No mystery, no surprise line items. Here's exactly how a Husky install goes — from the first quote walk-through to your year-one tune-up.
The six steps
Rigo walks the yard with you. We measure the lot, ask about your turf and beds, find your hose-bib pressure, and sketch zones on the spot. Bring questions — we'd rather catch them now than after the trencher arrives.
You'll get an itemized PDF emailed to you — zone count, head count, controller model, drip runs, permit fees, install timeline. No "miscellaneous" line items, no upsells you didn't discuss. Sleep on it as long as you need.
Once you say go, we file the irrigation permit with the city. We pay the fee (it's in the proposal), submit our license info, and schedule the post-install inspection. You don't lift a finger.
Crew arrives early. Trenching, mainline tap, zone valves, lateral lines, heads, drip, controller, backflow. We hand-dig anywhere we'd risk roots and lay landscape staple-mat over trenches before backfill. End of day, your yard is rolled, watered, and walkable.
We set seasonal schedules, teach you the controller (Rachio, Hunter Hydrawise, or your pick), label every valve box, and run each zone in front of you. You leave knowing how to pause, adjust, and seasonally tune the system yourself.
Lawns settle, beds shift, you grow new turf. Any time in your first year, we'll come back to fine-tune head angles, swap a misting nozzle, or add a drip emitter — at no charge. Three-year parts-and-labor warranty after that.
What's in the box
Schedule-40 PVC mains, poly laterals where soil moves, brass fittings on every backflow.
Hunter MP Rotators or Rain Bird rotors with matched precipitation. Drip for beds and trees.
Rachio or Hunter Hydrawise — Wi-Fi, weather-aware, with seasonal schedules pre-loaded.
Code-compliant backflow preventer, City of Dallas permit, and final inspection — all included.
Honest limits
We're a focused shop. If it's not on this page, we'll either tell you we can't help — or we'll point you to someone we trust.
We only service systems we've installed. It keeps our scheduling honest and our quality consistent.
We'll tidy our trenches and roll the lawn, but full sod or replanting is a different trade. Happy to recommend a Dallas crew.
We design irrigation, not gardens. If you want a planting plan, we partner with a couple of designers and can introduce you.
100% five-star ratings — zero complaints since 2018.
★★★★★"Rigo did a fantastic job. Catered to my vision, set up my Rachio, labeled each zone, and tested it multiple times. Best by far — and a very reasonable cost."
★★★★★"Professional, on-time, and meticulous. Walked the yard with me, explained the layout, and left the site cleaner than he found it. Couldn't recommend more."
From the day you say "go," figure roughly 2 weeks. Permit takes 2–5 business days, then we schedule the install (most yards are 1–3 days on-site). Quotes themselves are usually scheduled within the first 2–3 business days of you reaching out.
A well-designed smart system usually costs less than hand-watering, because it only runs when it needs to and avoids the runoff a hose creates. Expect a noticeable bump only if you were previously not watering at all. We program seasonal schedules to keep usage in check.
No — they're an itemized line in your written proposal, which is your final price. We pay the city directly so there's nothing for you to handle.
A small deposit at signing covers permit and material order, the balance is due on completion. We accept check, ACH, Zelle, or major credit cards. No financing tricks, no surprise change orders.
In Dallas, full blow-outs are usually unnecessary — we install drainable backflows and insulate exposed components. We'll show you a 5-minute pre-freeze checklist at the walk-through and you'll be set.
